Swine Scare

Carter has had a fever and cough for almost a week. We can’t seem to get him comfortable. He is normally so laid back and quiet, but for the last week you can definitely tell he doesn’t feel good. So on Friday we decided to take him to the doctor. The doctor was kind of worried that he has had a fever for so long, and decided to do a Swine Flu test. I was kind of worried because we had visited Sea World the week before, and being so close to the border, added some anxiety. BUT, luckily he was negative!! I was so impressed on how fast the doctors and nurses worked. As soon as we got there, we were given our own room. Which is awesome because I HATE waiting rooms. And the Swine Flu test is rapid response nose test, so you have results in minutes. But as every parent knows, the exam room is hell with kids. So we had to entertain ourselves. We raided every drawer and this is what we found….

AND yes.. she said the gloves were "dodger blue." daddy would be so proud.
